A mere 65 million years in the making, in 2022 a lifesize Giganotosaurus was set loose in three of Europe's major capitals.

Commissioned by Universal Pictures and in collaboration with Magic 14, Territory transformed Industrial Light & Magic's Giganotosaurus for a series of site-specific, interactive installations, to celebrate the long-awaited release of Jurassic World Dominion. Played out on a giant 8mx8m LED screen, the experience combined real-time and pre-rendered assets with a forced perspective illusion, to give visitors a visceral, up-close encounter with a larger-than-life 3D dinosaur.

With over 200,000 frames and so many moving parts, the project required close coordination with a multitude of stakeholders - from production design and event management to hardware and logistics. Initially launched in London's iconic Trafalgar Square, the live activation was replicated at landmark locations in Paris and Rome.
