Game of Thrones
With the anticipation of Game of Thrones Season 6, Malaysian television broadcast company Astro sought to create awareness, reach and hype on the availability of Game of Thrones exclusively on their platform.
The campaign began on Astro World of Movies’ Facebook page. To maximize engagement with fans, VLT crafted several humorous, contextual and localized posts based on elements from the Game of Thrones universe. Doing so incited fans to easily participate in conversations and clever comments with one another.
On the mobile side, VLT made use of Facebook’s new Canvas platform, where they paired Game of Thrones’ rich content with a platform that enabled an immersive and expressive experience to tell a gripping story.
To top it all off, they crafted a fully-responsive microsite, recapping notable events of Seasons 1 through 5.
